Getting an Apartment

Ok I am getting ready to get my own apartment and get away from my parents but I have been thinking about it and I am kind of nervous about it. I mean my parents have always been there for me and helped me when I did needed them the most.I know that when I get on my own they will be there if I need help but it will be different. They won't be around everyday, I won't have the comfort of knowing that my dad is in the next room at night if I need him. I am kind of nervous about whether things are going to change around the family.We have always had like certain traditions and ways of doing things and I wonder if that will all change. I am excited to be on my own don't get me wrong, I have been waiting for this for a long time but I am now realizing how much I have depended on my family so i know that it is time to move on and grow up a bit. I am ready now all I have to do is make sure I can pay for all my new bills.

Prank Calls

Have you ever had a prank call? I hate them. I work at Dominos and for some reason people think that they are so much better than we are because we work in pizza. Well I got a prank call today and it just made me so mad I don't really know what to say.I could probably get in trouble because I told them to grow up and stop being childish and then I hung up on them.If they wanted they could call the main office and probably get me fired for well being rude and then I am the manager on top of that, it would be just great but you know what I really just don't care.My day wasn't that great and people have a way of just catching you at the wrong time and then being stupid.I suppose I got a little bit more upset than I should have but I ca't change it now.I just really hate prank calls, they really get n my nerves.

A movie

I went to the movie's Sunday night for the first time in like forever and I saw the new National Treasure movie. I actually really liked it.It started off kind of slow at first but it began to get really good toward the middle.Basically it was a lot like the first one with a little bit of a twist. Instead of them just trying to find treasure Ben Gates is trying to find evidence that his great, great grandfather was inoccent in the assasination of President Lincoln.They ended up having to break into the white house and kidnap the president and some other crazy stuff along with that.There is one thing in the movie that I was not expecting, someone dies. That is all I am saying becasue if you haven't seen it I really don't want to ruin it for you.I enjoyed it but maybe that is just because I am kind of a nerd so you go and see it and decide for yourself.

Growing up

I have always been a "leave me alone, I can do everything myself" kind of person.I don't like asking for help at all. My parents don't pay any of my bills or for me to go to th doctor or anything. I work hard for what I have and yes there are times when I come up a little short with money and then it is still hard to ask for help. I pay for college,my phone, my car, my insurance, and soon my apartment and it is hard but it teaches you responsibility and a bonus is you get the freedom and satisfaction that you did it and no one helped you.It is not easy at all, sleep is a foreign language and t is hard to get all my work done on time because it is mostly due all at the same time.All I can say is that I can't wait to be done with school even though it is a good experience.When you start doing all of this by yourself you do realize that it was easier to just live with your parents because you can bum off of them for a while but after you can't do that. It is hard to grow up but in the longrun it is also very rewarding.

Abotrion!! NO!

Ok many people in the world think that it is ok to have an abortion but truthfully you are inly commiting a murder.People also say that under certain circumstances it is ok like if a girl is raped or something along those lines, or if she is not finantially capable of taking care of it.Well I am here to say that either way it is still murder and you will one day be punished for it.It is wrong to kill something that hasn't even been in the world yet.If you are raped I understand you don't want it but there is always the option of giving the child up for adoption.There are people all over the world that can't have children of their own and if you don't want the child someoe else will.Another thing if you can'ttake of one because you don't have the money then you don't need to be doing things to get yourself in that situation in the first palce sucks as young teenage girls who get pregnant at like 14 or 16 or something.They still live with their parents and more then likely they will be kicked out and teenage guys if they find out their girl is pregnant most of the time they will run so what do you have left except nothing but you and they baby on the way.That still isn' a reason for abprtion there are things you can do and places you can go for help and then give the child up to someone better suited for the job.Abortion is never the answer.

storm's

I have always liked when it rains or even storms,however there are a few ocassions when I don't so much, such as last night.It started off and i enjoyed it all cuddle up watching movies with the curtains opened.Then it started getting really bad and my power went out.That was not fun at all. I have never been in a tornado or even seen one up close but I thought last night that there was a first for everything. I didn't know what I would do if there was one.I was actually at my boyfriends when it all started and then I had to drive home in it and I live like an hour away so yeah I was a little nervous.I was sqeezing the steering wheel so hard my knuckles turned white.All the roads were so flooded so I had to drive extrememly slow but that was ok.When I got to the road by my house there was a spot that I didn't see that was floded and I had speed up a little bit because I thought that it was past but boy was I wrong.I went over it way to fast and about lost control of my car.I think that scared me the most out of the entire night but then I got home and everything was ok again.

Just the Start.

I have written my paper but this is just a peek.
As one of many people who love to drink water the topic of water pollution and the ongoing lawsuit between Tennessee and Mississippi has made me curious so I decided to research it.In most parts of the world the water is filthy and contaminated.Many people get sick and even die because of it.I have just recently learned that the water in Memphis is the cleanest in the rest of the world due to our great sanitizing systems.About 300,000 people get their water from public water sytems while 500,000 people ge their water from their own private system.Most of Tennessee rely's on ground water today.
Recently there has been a lawsuit placed on Tennessee by the state of Mississippi saying that we have been using some of their aquifer's and in turn their water. They want resource damages on the order of billions of dollars.
Getting back to the pending water issue, Tennessee law states that all public water resources must be tested for contamination and be signed off regularly, however if you have your own private water system you are not required to get it tested but you must have hired someone to build the system and he or she must have a license and permit to work on that well.Many things can cause contamination things that Tennessee must look at to keep up our clean water.Chemical contamination is not usual but it can happen if we aren't careful with what we do.Our water supply is threatened everyday by our clumsy habbits and storms and other things that can affect it and Tennessee and all over the world for that matter must take precautions.
